This will be a demonstration of how to cook two soups - one blended, one chunky - both vegetarian. The chunky (and lighter option) will be a vegetarian Minestrone with some delicious winter vegetables (Kale, cabbage, carrots, potatoes, squash, beans), and will include cracked pepper, garlic, and parmesan cheese. The blended and 'creamier' option will be a beer, cauliflower, and cheddar soup.
You finish a long day of work, slog through the rain and fog and walk up the stairs to a kitchen full of happy people. We crack open a few bottles (please bring one to share) and all of a sudden we're cooking, talking, relaxing, and learning. This will be primarily a demonstration, but everyone will get to 'stir the pot.' As soon as the soups are finished, we will eat them. I recommend you have a snack before the class since we won't be eating till late.

I've cooked all over the country as a professional cook/chef for 8 years. I love soups and one-pot meals. Here's a review of my last HOURSCHOOL CLASS: http://bit.ly/xGOo1Y
